More than 30 counties throughout England and Wales are involved in the annual sponsored “Ride and Stride”.
Every year “Ride & Stride” takes place on the second Saturday of September between 10am and 6pm – and this year it will take place on 12th September 2020.
Cycle, walk, run, ride or drive to raise money for the region’s historic churches and chapels of all denominations. Participants seek sponsorship to visit as many churches on the yearly list as they wish. They plan their own route and set their own speed.
Please join in and fundraise for our local churches! Walk to one church, or cycle to 35… come with your whole school, friends, family or just yourself… it’s up to you! St Peter-in-the-Wood Church in Appleshaw will be open from 10am to 6pm and we will be there to welcome you with scrummy brownies and other refreshments. A group photo opportunity is planned for 5pm, so please join in.
