The church was packed for the carol service yesterday evening – with more than 85 people attending.

The service started with an impressive “Once in Royal David’s City” solo – which clearly inspired the congregation, who joined in and started to sing with real enthusiasm and vim. There was no shortage of decibels. So much so it was probably a good thing that the mulled wine was only served after the service….

Here are some photos from the service. Note that the gloriously inefficient electric bar heaters give out a bright orange glow which makes everyone look like a wannabe Trump. Not necessarily a great look….
